No. TRMNL is independent hardware. Presence provides a compatible status feed and is not affiliated with or endorsed by TRMNL unless explicitly stated otherwise.
How quickly will an e-ink display update?
Presence updates its status as signals change, but the physical refresh speed depends on the TRMNL device, plugin configuration, firmware, and service plan.
Can I use a normal tablet instead?
Yes. Presence also provides a responsive full-screen browser display for tablets, spare monitors, and other web-capable screens.
