FOR GOOGLE WORKSPACE & PERSONAL CALENDARS

One clear answer before someone interrupts.

Presence combines only the availability connections you approve into one simple, privacy-safe status. The people around you see whether now is a good time—not the private details behind the answer.

01

Multiple calendars, one answer

Connect personal, work, and shared Google Calendar accounts, then choose the calendars inside each account that should count. Presence combines their busy windows so your status reflects the schedule you actually use.

02

Meeting soon and in a meeting

Presence can show an upcoming meeting before it starts, switch during the scheduled window, and return to your automatic baseline afterward.

03

Working hours included

Use your calendar timezone and Presence work schedule to make Available the normal workday baseline and Away the normal after-hours baseline.

04

Titles stay off shared views

Door displays, family links, and reception boards show only the availability answer—not event names, attendees, descriptions, or conference links.

SET IT UP ONCE

Presence works quietly in the background.

  1. 1Connect Google Calendar

Approve read-only calendar access from the Presence dashboard and choose the Google account you want to add.

  2. 2Choose the calendars that matter

Use the calendar picker to select one or more calendars inside each connected account. Change the selection, disable it, or remove the connection at any time.

  3. 3Let Presence keep the answer current

Your approved schedule signals flow into the same status used by private links, team views, browsers, tablets, and TRMNL.

PRIVACY FIRST

Availability is shared. Calendar details are not.

Meeting titles, attendees, call participants, precise coordinates, chat, recordings, audio, and video stay out of shared views. Every user controls their own connections and links.

COMMON QUESTIONS

What people want to know.

Does Presence read my Gmail?

No. Presence does not request Gmail access and does not read email. The Google integration uses read-only Calendar permissions.

Will people see my meeting title?

No. Shared views and displays show a simple availability status. Meeting titles, attendees, descriptions, and conference links stay private.

Can I connect more than one Google account?

Yes. Presence supports multiple Google Calendar accounts so work, personal, and other schedules can contribute to one availability answer.
