WHY I BUILT IT
Being home does not always mean being available.
Working from home gave me something I value deeply: the chance to make lunch, tie shoes, put on a bandage, and be nearby for the little moments in family life. But it also created a constant question outside my office door: is now a good time?
I had seen the same problem in traditional offices. We tried door sliders, shades, colored lights, and sticky notes. They only worked when someone remembered to update them.
