Presence is original, proprietary software.

Protected work

Presence's original source code, user-interface design, written copy, illustrations, documentation, compiled applications, extension materials, and other original creative work are protected by applicable copyright law.

No open-source license

Presence is not open-source software. Access to the website, a compiled application, an extension, or a previously public repository does not grant permission to reproduce, redistribute, commercially exploit, host, sublicense, or create derivative works from Presence's original materials. Any such permission requires a separate written agreement from the owner.

Third-party materials

Open-source packages and other third-party materials remain subject to their own licenses. Apple, Google, Microsoft, Zoom, Webex, Cisco, TRMNL, Twilio, and other third-party names, products, and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Presence is an independent service and is not affiliated with or endorsed by those companies unless expressly stated otherwise.

Contributions and permissions

A contributor must have authority to submit their work and must agree that accepted work may be used as part of Presence. A separate written contributor or contractor agreement may be required before substantial outside work is accepted.
